Here at Homer, we’d love to wish a special Happy Father’s Day to all of the dads out there.
We wanted to share some of our favorite moments shared by fathers who have trusted Homer with their children!
“We started Homer one year ago when we were looking for a suitable learning program for our 3 year old, Lyla. Now, as a fairly tech-savvy dad, I wanted to make sure that we had a program that was less “game” and more “fun learning.” Homer is just that. When we first started out, Lyla would carefully go through the Learn to Read lessons. It didn’t take her long to pick up on letters, sounds, and forming words. I remember watching her put sounds together right before bed, and how happy she was to see when she got the correct answer. Here we are – one year later, and she is starting to read to me!” – Taylor M., dad to 4 year old
“I’ll never forget the moment when my daughter read her first sentence all by herself. I would be lying if I said it wasn’t an emotional experience for me. I would have never thought a program like Homer would make such a difference, but it really has.” – Mark W., dad to 5 year old
“My son loves trucks. You should see his room, seriously. He has so many trucks and cars. I knew I had to find a program that would tailor to his interests but also have some educational value to it. We started our free trial of Homer and it’s made such an impact. He LOVES the lessons about cars and trucks. He tries to quiz me at breakfast and I always wondered where he got these little facts. Well, Homer is the answer. Homer made learning so easy and fun for my son and I am excited to see what else he will learn!” – Lawrence D., dad to 6 year old
“The team at Homer is amazing. Thank you for creating such a life-changing product. My daughter is autistic and my wife and I have had troubles finding an app that would be beneficial to my daughter. We’ve been using Homer for 5 months and it’s wonderful to see her progress. I love doing the worksheets with her that Homer provides on the website. It’s strengthened our relationship and we have more chances to bond now. I am a proud dad!” – Keith K., dad to 5 year old
“My grandson sends me post cards through Homer and it is such a treat. I love that technology allows me to stay in touch with him. I’ve been able to look at his progress on the website and we always talk about the new things he’s learned with Homer and friends. We will be visiting Washington DC as a family this summer, and Benji has already told me all about the US presidents from Homer’s lessons. It makes us so happy to see him learn and grow.” – James G., Grandfather to 4 year old.
